About Dr. Goldstein

I'm Dr. Joshua A. Goldstein. I'm a Clinical Psychologist, licensed in the state of California, and have a private practice centrally located in Beverly Hills. My practice provides psychotherapy services for the diverse communities within Los Angeles (Beverly Hills, Hollywood, West LA, Culver City, Mid-City).

I provide long-term talk-therapy primarily using a psychoanalytic / psychodynamic perspective, while utilizing multiple other therapeutic approaches when appropriate. Every individual is unique and different, so I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. The relationship developed between therapist and patient is the main guiding factor for treatment and I take great care to understand and connect with each patient on a personal level.

I received my Doctoral Degree in Applied Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, and I also hold a Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy.

I spent years training at Maple Counseling Center and Chicago School Counseling Center, and completed both my Pre-Doctoral Internship and Post-Doctoral Fellowship at the renowned Wright Institute Los Angeles, where I earned a certificate in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy.
